G Suite is a very big, awesome product. It’s hard sometimes to keep up with all of the cool things you can do with it. There are a few things that continuously come up with clients, family and friends, so take a moment to set these up to help make things easier for you.
- Go to Google.com right now and type in “Where’s my phone”. It will open up a map, show you where your phone is and allow you to ring it, recover it or delete it. If you haven’t set it up yet, just sign in and it will walk you through the process.
- Download Google Photos to your phone. Once installed it will automatically sync all of your pictures to your G Suite account at photos.google.com. Every once in an while, click on the dots/lines and select the option to remove the photos that are already backedup. It will erase the pictures from your phone to free up space, but they’ll all be accessible via the Google Photos app or at the website. Did I mention, it’s free?
- Don’t lose your contacts just because you switched phones! Go to the settings on your phone and setup Google Contact Sync.
If you’re on an android device and you have signed in with your Google account, it will automatically sync.
