My 2017 Goal: BizCon

For about 3 years now….maybe more….I have had this goal to bring all of the great business folks I know together into one room to share the wealth of knowledge they have with each other.  Over the course of these three years, I’ve twisted and turned this idea in my head too many times to count.  This January, thanks to my business coach, Scott Babbidge of Next Level Training and Development, I had the fire lit under me to go out and DO IT.  Then, I had a loud “DO IT, I’ll help!” from my guy, Rusty Stevens who has really done an awesome job helping to grab this dream by the horns to make it a reality.

BizCon Charlotte has been born.  And it is growing to be even more fantastic than I had previously conceived.  A selection of 18 speakers to choose from throughout the day, the CEO of BNI as the keynote, a vendor hall, photographer, videographer, lunch, breakfast and even an after hours event!  The venue is absolutely gorgeous and was more or less made for BizCon, as when I closed my eyes and imagined the layout of a building that would be perfect, NOAHS turned out to be it…and was built just for me (well, kinda….it opens it’s doors officially this weekend).

And to top it all off, I have a great marketing partner in Steve Borchert with The Brand Affect that has made it all so…..”pretty” as I like to tell him.  His help with the website graphics, the marketing materials and various other things has been top notch.  It has been an honor to work with him through the process and I am so thankful to have him in my pocket on this goal journey.

It’s been a heck of a job over the last few months, but as you can see the people helping have been the catalyst to make this event successful.  I can’t WAIT to see it all come together on May 4th.  It’s so exciting to make this dream come true and has been SO much fun to put together.  May 4th isn’t here yet but I feel like I’ve already achieved this goal!
