I stumbled across this article titled “8 Tips to Stop Tech Stress” today and thought I’d share. I think this does tend to happen often and sometimes it requires us to take a step back and
realize we are letting tech get the best of us.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love technology! It’s how I make my living. But, I do know some (including myself sometimes) let it rule. It’s important to set it down and walk away sometimes. I especially like the step on this article where it says to inform clients that you check email at certain times of the day. I think this can be a great practice for many reasons, but most of all, it lets you be in charge of the work, not the work in charge of you.
How do you manage your tech stress? For me, I almost totally unplug on the weekends. I do look at my phone in the morning for a bit, but other than that, I rarely have it unless I’m taking pictures. It’s a great way for me to decompress from all of the demands the phone brings to my life!
